

About Me
Born and raised in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada I moved to the Lower Mainland of
Vancouver to attend BCIT and work for almost 10 years. From there I headed to Uganda to
volunteer for 6 months, followed by 19 months working in Kelowna before heading to
Nigeria to volunteer for a year. I am now living in Kelowna.

Position: Clinical Informatics Analyst
Systems analysis, training, project management, implementations, and support for
Public Health computer systems.
BHP Billiton
June 2007 to December 2007
Position: Computer Support Technician (contract)
Systems administration for the BHP Billiton Kelowna office. Computer support for
employees, troubleshooting computer problems, managing servers and backup
regimes.
VSO Canada (Voluntary Service Overseas)
October 2005 to October 2006
Position: IT Manager, Nigeria
Opening a community outreach computer training center for SATCOM Ltd I was
responsible for all aspects of the school. In my role as IT Manager I hired, trained and
mentored teachers, performed computer repairs and troubleshooting, developed
training curriculum based on the ECDL, created daily lesson plans and designed all
tests, as well as taught classes each day. Course included Computer Basics, MS
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Basic Troubleshooting.
Kronos - Total Care Group
March 2004 to September 2005
Position: Software Support Analyst
Providing technical support and in-depth troubleshooting for users of the Total Care
health scheduling suite of products. This role includes providing excellent customer
care though troubleshooting database problems in MS SQL Server and client-server
application issues. I am also responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our
software for our Sales and AC team, as well as redesigning, implementing, and
maintaining the Support Intranet.
VSO Canada (Voluntary Service Overseas)
August 2003 to March 2004
Position: IT Specialist Ntungamo, Uganda
Working as a computer trainer for the District of Ntungamo, Education Department. I am
responsible for raising the level of computer skills for all employees of the department.
My role also includes computer troubleshooting and support throughout the district.

Position: Team Manager – Data & Network Assistance
Supporting the call center team responsible for technical support of wireless data
products and the network. My role included managing call center performance, rolling
out product support, coaching, performance reviews and creation of personal
development plans.
AirIQ Inc.

Position: Supervisor – Support Services
Supervision of the Account Management, Technical Support, and Reception
departments. After the merger of eDispatch & AirIQ I was promoted to managing a staff
of 4 that covered the above roles. My tasks involve leadership of the team in technical
support and account management as well as product management and design.

networking, and wireless technologies. Training of staff and customers on our product
